Abstract: Virtues constitute the fundamental foundation of health, which consists of the physical health, mental health and the spiritual health. By building the virtues and characters, we remove the wrong and misleading beliefs from the mind so that we can maintain the health. The misunderstandings and misinterpretations about what man is have directly resulted in the severe health crisis of the modern man. Philosophically considered, man as a whole is composed of the physical body, the mental mind and the spiritual soul. Virtues make it possible for us to restore man as a whole and healthy person.
